Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil

Coconut Oil’s role in skin care is to act as a moisturizer and hydrator. It has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties too. As an emollient, it can help repair the skin barrier by forming a layer on top of the skin to lock in moisture, while preventing trans epidermal water loss. This protective layer helps repair cracks in the outer layers of the skin more effectively.

Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil

Orbignya Oleifera is a type of palm, called “babassu palm” that is native to South America. The oil from the seeds of this tree is similar to coconut oil. It fights acne because of its natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. The extract oil brings relief to dry and itchy skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis. Babassu oil is packed with vitamin E, antioxidants and fatty acids with a high concentration of lauric acid which offers anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties.
